Finding Happiness God's Way

Recent research by the annual “Harris Poll Survey of American Happiness” - showed only one-third of Americans consider themselves to be happy.
Why is it that happiness proves to be elusive? Could it be we're all looking in all the wrong places in our search for happiness?
Join us each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. to hear practical, biblical ideas on how to Find Happiness - God's Way.
God's Plan to Happiness
If you're honest, you'll admit you've made plenty of mistakes in your life. The Bible calls these mistakes - sin.
Romans' 3:23 says we're all messed up -
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
But there is Good News - because the Bible also says there is a way to get a clean slate.
Romans 6:23 says this -
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8 tells us God to the lead and loved us first -
God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
What we all deserve because of our sin and rebellion is eternal separation from God. But God loves us so much He sent Jesus to die on a cross of execution to pay the penalty of our sin. To give us a clean slate!
Romans 10:9-10 tells us how to change our lives forever, be forgiven of our sins, and eternal life in heaven -
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
If you're ready to follow Jesus and become a Christ-follower, start by praying this simple prayer:
Dear God, I know I'm a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is your Son. I believe that He died for my sins and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to learn to follow you more closely every day. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
