About Us

Pastor Darrel has been at First Church since May 2016 and enjoys teaching and preaching. Before coming to West Jeff, Darrel was a church planter and spent many years in radio & television.

Darrel has been happily married to Ruth since 1984, they have four children and multiple grandchildren.

Pastor Darrel enjoys baseball & football and eating regularly at Skyline!

Ruth has been leading worship for many, many years and enjoys leading at First Church. She is a enthusiastic worship leader and an experienced music teacher.

Ruth and Darrel have been happily married since 1984 and have four children. They also have multiple, wonderful grandchildren.

Ruth enjoys music, cooking and especially baking tasty things for her family.
